Environment   Aug 2, 2017 by Annalise Chandler - Pimlico

This artwork shows how time is running out for both the North and South poles as well as islands, and certain cities. It does so in a clever way, showing the melting water dripping down into the sea water surrounding these cities and islands. This is a beautiful and clever piece of artwork, to see it in more detail click the link above.

This is a moving art piece as it reminds us that everything we do has it's equal consequence.

We ain't all gonna fit in that bottom glass (!)

Its frightening to see the contrast between these two environments, and yet while the North Pole is melting encompass our urban cities, the Polar bear above displays how the Artic plates are suffering just as much. The ironic concept that our actions against the environment have dire consequences is showcased flawlessly here. Truly eye-opening.

Great!

This is a inspirational art piece that informs you about the global problem at hand.

The hour glass is divided between the top section indicating the polar habitats and the bottom section indicating the artificial human built habitats. It symbolises the destruction of polar habitats due to increasing temperatures causing rising sea levels which then damages the bottom section, the cities.

Exactly, I'm so glad you understand the true meaning of this image :)
