About Me

My name is Eunice, I was born in Papua New Guinea and moved here to Australia because my dad got a job here. I am 15 years old and go to Pimlico State High School and am currently in year ten.

What is your vision for a sustainable world?
My vision for a sustainable world is for everyone to know the reality of the problem of climate change, if everyone knows about it then collectively we can make a bigger difference. For this to become a reality, I would want schools to apply climate change to their curriculum to make sure kids are learning about the importance of keeping the world healthy from a young age.

What impact has colonization had on our journey to a sustainable planet?
Colonization has had a large impact on our journey to a sustainable planet, as our population increases the more resources we use. As a cause of the rising population, more houses are being made, more cars are being bought, and more electricity is being used and therefore cause more greenhouse gases to be released into the earth’s atmosphere.
