What is my vision for a sustainable world?

My vision for a sustainable world is one where people either walk or use bikes for transport. A world where the use of fossil fuels is reduced and the use of renewable energy resources is more frequent by going solar; installing renewable heating and cooling systems as well as using green electricity. A place where people learn to save energy by using energy efficient lighting and appliances, as well as installing efficient windows, doors, and plug leaks and many other ways to save energy.

What am i planning to do to make this vision a reality?

I plan not take the environment around me for granted. As well as to stop wasting resources and use them in a responsible matter. I also plan on travelling less.

What impact has colonization had on our journey to a sustainable planet?

Both a positive and negative impact. This is because colonization has resulted into the development of many countries. As a result more resources started getting used, industrialization has been introduced which has resulted to large amounts of greenhouse gases being produced on a daily basis. More trees cut down thus deforestation which also contributes a lot to climate change. On the other hand technology has enhanced and they are more strategies to make the planet more sustainable and many ways to deal with climate change.
