CILT / BRASÍLIA - BRAZIL / Class 3B / ACTIVITY 4B / Teacher: Cristina Lourenço

Environment   Oct 26, 2017 by João Victor de Souza Cardoso

With colonization, we began to create large urban centers, many polluting vehicles, we began to emit an enormous amount of carbon without we worrying about the consequences. Meanwhile we are beginning to feel the effects of the most intense climate changes like floods, greenhouse effect, desertification, acid rain, hurricanes, etc.

We need to "decolonize", decentralize, live not only in one place, but live scattered, because if we live in large, centralized cities, in that area there will be a lot of carbon being emitted and helping with the greenhouse effect. But it is not enough to just "decolonize" we have to "decarbonize", stop polluting, stop emitting carbon in order to live in harmony with nature. In order for people to move away from urban centers, the government needs to make these areas more distant to offer quality of life for these people without polluting the environment, so as not to bring more danger damages.
