- Some of the most relevant action projects in SDG#13 are 13.1, which is "Strengthen resilience and adaptive capacity to climate-related hazards and natural disasters in all countries," and 13.2, which is "Integrate climate change measures into national policies, strategies, and planning."
- One challenge is that there are too many carbon emissions, and 13.2 helps because it will add rules about how to limit your carbon emissions into rules and federal/state laws.
- I think that slaughterhouses should also be taken into account because they are killing off a lot of animals, and contributing a lot of greenhouse gasses. As onegreenplanet.org states, "Slaughterhouses are also responsible for large outputs of greenhouse gases such as methane and carbon dioxide, both major contributors to climate change. These gases are created both in the process of slaughter and by the degradation of wastewater. As established above, wastewater contains a number of organic materials, all of which release methane and carbon dioxide when they decompose."
- I think I would incorporate an action/target on keeping/not cutting down forests because they could help fix global warming. They could help fix it by taking some of the carbon dioxides out of the air, and when trees are cut down, their trunks and leaves that fall are left to rot, which produces more carbon dioxide.
