Cilt Brazil Brasília E6 - Teacher Denise Bomtempo - Andressa Alves Pereira

Environment   Oct 5, 2017 by Andressa Alves Pereira

The representation of climate change it`s pretty much de same to the other things I`ve read and viewed, nothing is different from the other news. The indigenous people are worry about the earth and the forests and thinking about the consequences of carbon excess, about the deforestation and all the resources available.

The first solution it is to make sure each country is ready to help and contribute to the solutions about the issues, and planning what needs to be done.

The second solution it is to measure how much carbon dioxide we can stop from being released.

The third solution it is about the awareness should be implemented.

I agree with the representation of Indigenous peoples and climate change action, because they`re thinking about the future and about the earth, because our resources are ending and we need to act.

Itìs hard to take seriously Indigenous perspectives of climate change, but is necessary because our word needs help. The differences need to be left a side, we need to think about a great plan and do awesome actions together.

You are right! Most of the representations are similar to others we have seen except some few nuances. Good point.

Good points in your response to question three - What solutions to climate change does this video propose?. I like the granular nature of your response. I would like to mention that REDD+ is one of the solutions highlighted in the video.

I do agree with your answer to the third question, however, do you think the video captures all the views of all indigenous people in the world. At least does it capture all the view of indigenous people in Brazil?

Your response to the last question make so much sense. I agree with you that it's will be difficult but, we have to do all in our ability to take their views into consideration for the sake of our planet as their ways seem to have positive impact on climate change.
