In my opinion on of the most important targets is the one that says "Improve education, awareness-raising and human and institutional capacity on climate change mitigation, adaptation, impact reduction and early warning", because some children under the age of 10 don't even have an idea about what climate change is, and as we all know we/they are the future, and if they are not aware about what climate change is, how are they gonna be able to change?
Water is the most essential yet most dangerous element in life. It doesn’t matter if you’re indegenous or not, we all depend upon water. Indigenous communities just live more closely with water, so they see the effects of climate change first hand as oppose to me and you whom would never see the change. A goal here in Costa Rica is to reduce the use of pesticides and chemicals on our crops because they sink into the soil and contaminate our drinking water killing various bugs and animals and thus damaging the eco system.
An area that should be taken into account is factories can limit their pollution to avoid the toxins mixing in with rain water and air. Environment pollution has a many facets, and the resultant health risks include diseases in almost all organ systems. Also the melting of Artic Sea Ice, the ice cabs are melting due to climate change and the greenhouse effect, the melting of the ice cabs ingress the sea levels, and this can affect different areas and people.
