  •  What are the most relevant actions/targets proposed in SDG#13?

In my view the countries that have as the most relevant actions targeted in the SDG#13.It was from the third point that is stating that "developed countries have pledged to jointly mobilize $100 bilion per year by 2020 to meet the Climage needs developing countries for resources for the green climage fund have raised $10.3 bilion and as parts of developed countries are strongly urged to increase their financial support."This shows that developed countries have pledged to contribute such as weather issues they face using a deadline and a reasonable amount.

  • How do SDG #13 targets respond to the challenges created by the effects of climate change in water in both Indigenous and non-indigenous communities?

SDG # 13 aims to best address the challenges of climate change in indigenous and non-indigenous communities. Countries that mobilized and submitted iterations of national adaptation and redeployment plans. Developed countries pledged to jointly mobilize $ 100 billion a year by 2020 to meet climate needs in these indigenous and non-indigenous communities. Some countries have indicated and reported on environmental impact assessments, protected area legislation, projects and programs. climate change adaptation and integrated planning played an important role in reducing the underlying risk factors. This made them have more idea to implement in indigenous communities.

  • What elements would you incorporate if you had to build and action/target that addressed water, Indigenous peoples, and non-indigenous people. Provide a brief rationale that justifies each element?

Firstly, I would build a project to educate people about water changes throughout the country, because I do not want them to go through the same thing that we are going through here in Brasilia. I will say a little of what is happening here, with the dry weather and lack of rain we are suffering from the scarcity of water the dams that distribute water to the cities are taking away with each passing day, with that they implemented the rationing. So in my action one would interrupt the use of water for two days along with the idea of rationing without harming anyone, because with this idea one would learn to store water properly, which will help in reducing water waste. By making the dams have more time to be replenished.

Hi Isabele,

You have made many connections with the concepts in this post. I think your action ideas are really great. I love your idea of interrupting the water use for two days to create awareness. I am sure people would learn that they can easily get by with using a bit less water. I know in my experience I always think about my water use after I have been camping or traveling in remote areas for a few days where there is little or no water and it really isn't that hard to just use water a bit differently. Do you think that governments would go through with your plan of reducing the water for a few days?

Great ideas,

Allison

Hi Isabele,

Wow, that is really interesting. I hope the government does go through with it. I think it would really help people understand the issues better.

Hi Allison

This idea started with the government but they did not put into practice the idea that was proposed to them, but they approved of this idea they thought that with this idea the people could worry more about what is going on in the world. that my ideas become clearer without doubt.

Isabele
