In my opinion this video had the better explanation about climate changes. I could see everything that I had read and listened about it in an abridged and dynamic way. The images helped a lot.
The video reports that the indigenous communities can participate in the REDD+ and help to preserve forests. But, looking to know how this happens in Brazil I found a FUNAI (Indian national foundation) video that shows the indigenous opinions about this project. And they are worried about some problems, like the form which they’ll take care of the forest. Because they know how to preserve the forest, this is linked with their culture, they want to implement it in the project and not just obey a single way. It proposes an incentive for maintenance and conservation of forests. Benefits are offered in exchange for reduction the deforestation.
I think the indigenous people were well represented, Especially the equilibrium relationship with nature. I liked the fact that they did not portray the indigenous people the wrong way that we sometimes think they are: people who wear feather clothing and have never had contact with civilization.
Here, in Brazil, the preconception against indigenous people is very common. The fight waged between indigenous and landowners is a worsening of this, beyond the wrong sight we have on them. Some people say that indigenous people are lazy, because they don’t have a job. Others think they are dangerous. And beyond it, others, say that who get out of the tribe stop being indigenous. That would be the same thing to say that who leaves Germany to live in
another place, for example, ceases to be German.
Lacks knowledge... The indigenous culture should be more taught in schools, but without stereotypes, because this is part of the identity of my country.

Great artwork!!!!
About the video, the animation helped me too a lot.
Your second paragraph highlights the fact that you've been researching. The ideologies of FUNAI can be adapted in REDD+.
It is good the video portrayed indigenous people nicely, I agree with you when you say "The indigenous culture should be more taught in schools, but without stereotypes, because this is part of the identity of my country." it is bad some people treat them badly. I hope we grow to appreciate the more. By the way, do you think all the suggestions of indigenous people should be taken seriously? Would we have to ignore some suggestion made by them?
