- The longer man takes to deploy the solutions, the worse the future - dealing with climate change will be more expensive and much more difficult. That's why Greenpeace works to pressure governments and businesses to cut greenhouse gas emissions as quickly as possible. Cities also play a major role in this game. Governments need to move all their efforts to keep the forests standing and preserve the oceans. The world needs, above all, people to make the change, from the ordinary citizen to the nautical clothing that runs countries and companies. The moment of action is now. The next billion people on Earth will be grateful. Can we go back? Yes, the solution is to zero deforestation, conserve the oceans, invest in an intelligent energy policy, among others.

Hi Isabele,
You have noted many relevant issues to the current environmental problems we have today. How do you think we will get people to change their ways? What do you think the economic connection with current behaviours and climate change problems is? Is there a connection with a country's colonial past? Do you think there will be power imbalances between city governments and federal governments?

Hi, Allison.
In my point of view the process of raising awareness and a good idea for people to change their way of thinking and living, the economic connection and a very important point for climate change because the country saving, not spending with food things will have more money to invest in the country's things as in our environment. It will have an imbalance, because today governments are wanting to be better than the other by acting in the wrong way and having a lot of confrontation because of these social ambitions.
