Hi Shadia,
Thank you for your insightful comments about the colonial context and modern connections in Brazil. Also, your example of poor access to public transport is a great example of the impacts of a country's economic status and climate change. Perhaps another factor is what countries and cities choose to prioritize for use with their money. I am from Calgary, Canada and while it is a very developed city, the public transportation is not very accessible for a lot of people unless one lives near the metro line, which has not been expanded at the same rate as the city's population has expanded. These are challenging issues for all cities to think about, but especially in developing countries. You also noted that developed countries don't feel the environmental impacts of industrialization as much as developing countries and this is something I agree with. I wonder if there is a way to change this so that more goods are manufactured in the country that uses them so that the strict environmental protection laws will be applied to the factories, rather than outsourcing to other countries. Thank you for raising some important points about these issues.

Hi Allison, thank you for all your feedback, I really agree with the factor that the countries and cities choose to prioritize for use with their money, this happens too much in my country, mainly by diverting money by committing corruption. In Brazil, we have bus stops and metro lines but as you said that happens in your city, happens here too, there isn't accessibility and here, who lives in the suburb don't have how to take a metro because is too far. I want that they can use the environmental protection laws in the factories, this will be very good to start to make a good change.
