In a sustainable world it would be possible to enjoy the natural assets for relatives, but to harm the environment and consequently, to compromise the future of the generations.

For this to be possible, it is necessary to conserve what is necessary for life and to use various renewable forms to maintain the balance between a nature and human communities, seeking to reduce the number of non-organic waste, stop cutting down trees, emission of polluting gases in the atmosphere, and the purchase of exotic animals.

In the history of humanity many countries have invaded others in search of riches and natural resources, but have not thought of the consequences of their actions, causing many species of plants and animals to go extinct.

In this way, sustainability seeks to build a more balanced and renewable world, so that it is human and nature coexists.

Hi David,

Thinking about the future is an important motivation for climate change work, as any changes that occur are likely to take time. I appreciate that you recognize the balance between nature and human communities – co-existence is a reality and we must find ways to in balance and do as little harm as possible while also recognizing the harm that has been done. What would this look like to you? How do we find balance when humans have created a world where they do not listen to the environment or its stewards?
