A) What is your vision for a sustainable world?
My "vision" is a world where humans do not abuse the earth and its resources but instead hold it in reverence. A world where wasteful consumption of resources for personal gain and ego is obsolete. A world where humans realize everything has its limit and everyone knows the meaning of "carrying capacity" and respect it. My vision of a sustainable world is - we and the generations to come live in a world where clean water and clean air have not become a scarcity. My vision is that, the young people of today will be able to enjoy our rivers and our wilderness in the same way that we have and that, decades from now, they'll still be able to say that these natural features contribute greatly to the quality of life. I want the ocean to stay blue and green. I want the forests to remain vast and green in the same way we have it today. My vision is of an environment that is clean and green. Where people do not use plastic bags, rather they will use jute bags. People will use less of cars, more of public transports, more of by-cycles for commute and there will be more use of renewable resources. There will be more solar energy, more wind energy, more clean energy, more electric vehicles, more by-cycles. A sustainable future to me is one in which humans live in pace and harmony with nature and other inhabitants of the earth. Where people drop selfish attitudes and learn not to overuse our resources for their own benefit.
B) What are you planning to do to make this vision a reality?
I plan to help this cause of sustainable world in my own small way. I will use by-cycle or public transport for going to my college or office. I will plant more trees in my apartment, in my school, in my community. I will actively participate in the campaign to save the water bodies, save the forests. I will not use plastic bags. I will use water in a measured way, without wasting it.
C) What impact has colonization had on our journey to a sustainable planet?
Colonization has both a negative and a positive impact. As people colonize new places, they need more space and more resources. This can be bad because sometimes people end up limiting the amount of space for the Water bodies, parks, animal's habitat and destroying the habitat, destroying the forests, etc. Also, as cities, towns, and states grow, there are more cars and more factories that will cause environment pollution. However, colonization has also had a positive impact. With colonization, civilizations get more and more advanced (because technology gets better, population increases, more buildings are made, etc.). This means that as we colonize new places and those places become advanced civilizations, there is enough money and enough eco-friendly people to educate others and create eco-friendly products for people to buy and use. The more people that are eco-friendly, the closer we get to a sustainable world. This is why I think colonization has had a good impact. I believe that colonization has had both a negative and positive impact on our journey to a sustainable world.

I'm so impressed with her choice of image, it describes exactly how we need to see and understand nature and the environment, as a place where there are respect, collaboration and fair exchanges.
I really like what you said in the first 2 questions. it's inspiring how you talk about the beautiful world we live in and how you dream about it staying the same for generation to come. I think that people selfishness could one day destroy Earth, that's why we need to stick together to make sure everyone in the world knows and cares about this planet as much as you do.
How you approached the perks of colonization is very interesting to me. You're right when you say that as cities grow, more people appear and the use of resources increases but I do think that we have to work a lot every single day to ensure that the new people in the world are conscious about everything that is happening. Unfortunately, some people will notice and care about the harm that has been done to Earth after this pollution problem hits rock bottom.
He have to wok hand to hand to make sure this doesn't happen.
