A) What is your vision for a sustainable world?
My vision for a sustainable world where humans beings and nature have a harmonious relationship where we give the earth its value as our home without harming it. To preserve the natural resources and maintain an ecological balance, so it does not threaten any kind of a species in existence.
B) What are you planning to do to make this vision a reality?
We plan to recycle the garbage, starting inside our houses, separating recyclable from organic ones using less individual and more collective transportation, and when it is possible, riding bicycles. Also, consuming products that do not pollute the environment, for example, vegans. Avoid wasting natural recourses, properly store rainwater for example. Cleaning the house, preserving the fauna and flora everywhere we go, and plant trees whenever possible and convey knowledge about the measures that can be used to transform our world into a sustainable world.
C) What impact has colonization had on our journey to a sustainable planet ?
If we said that the human being alone began to destroy the natural order of nature, we would be ignorant, because the natives already inhabited various parts of the planet and lived in harmony with nature. So the human being who lives only in one place does not cause so many disasters, what destroys nature is the men´s greediness, as for example, in colonization, in which humans with completely different cultures arrived on lands with great natural riches in a violent and careless way, all by the political and territorial domination, and more, they made the slaves the humans who already inhabited the place. This is an example that happened and still happens in the whole world. It is shameful to know that we have evolved and discovered so many things, yet we do not realize that we need nature, if it dies, we die.

Hi Vanaia,
I am a mentor from Canada. You have selected a very powerful image and it really resonates with me as I live in Shanghai where the pollution can be very bad in the winter months. You also have strong ideas for action that can be taken to help achieve your ideal sustainable world. Any of these ideas would make for great community initiatives. I think your comment on "men's greediness" is a critical part of the problems related to sustainability and environmental problems. Hopefully, we can all begin to change our ways soon.

Great image, perfectly reflects our future if the humanity doesn't begin to preserve nature and its limited resources.
