Nepal is a mountainous country. Earthquake, flood, landslide engulfed many people due to climate change. Deforestation is the main causes. climate change means change of earth global or regional climate over a long period of time it effects in every steps of our life.

MY VISION FOR A SUSTAINABLE WORLD--My vision for sustainable world is where people travel on foot and use less vehicles which reduce the use of fuel. people use solar power and they must learn to save energy.

MY PLAN---I plan to make this world green, clean, peace and safe.

IMPACT OF COLONIZATION---It has both positive and negative impact. So many country of this world is developed due to colonization. On the other hand trees cut down which causes climate change.

Hi Birendra, it's great to meet you!

Thanks so much for your post, it's very insightful!

I agree that climate change is altering regional and local weather patterns, which in turn has changed the way in which a lot of people must live their lives. Do you have any specific examples of how climate change has impacted Nepal?

I also agree that renewable energy sources, like solar and wind, are the way to go in the future. Those sources can provide the energy we need without the pollution caused by fossil fuels. But can you think of any negative impacts of these renewable energy sources? If renewables are such awesome sources of energy, why aren't they as widespread as we'd like?

Making the world green, clean, peaceful and safe sounds like a great plan!

You mention in your comment about colonization that it has both positive and negative effects. I'm assuming that you consider the development of some countries due to colonization a positive effect. Can you expand on this? Is this type of development a good thing? Would these countries (like Canada) have developed the same way without colonization? If the whole point of colonization is to take control and take advantage of indigenous peoples and their land, can it ever be considered a good thing?

Thanks for your post -- I look forward to reading more from Nepal!
