Along the time day, we noticed that people do not care what the situation is.Every day we receive news saying that the planet is in crisis, not only political but also economic and social. From an environmentalist perspective, we report that, since the increase of the Industries, the place where we live has been losing forests, each day building more highway, causing the air ( which was to be clean ) to become polluted, bringing many diseases and infections to people.
A great example of this destruction of nature is the ozone layer, the burnings increase more every day and the extinction of animals, plants that can help cure some disease is not found anymore because the damage caused by humans all along the years.
Changing our attitudes can change the world where we live, we must become aware an realize that by our hand the forest, animals and even humans are dying. Therefore, our attitudes affect not only ourselves but everything that is around us.

I am a mentor from Canada and I am paired with Brazil. You have a strong idea that changing people's attitudes is important; however, I think that a lot of people do care a lot about the environment, yet we still have problems. Do you have any ideas as to how you will influence people to change their attitudes? Are there any actions that you think would be important to take? What do you think about the impact of colonization?
Hi Allison,
My idea initially was a social "re-education", where people would learn that the planet is really suffering. For me an action that should be taken would be to make people aware that they are doing very badly not only for the planet but also for itself, because where there is a society that does not preserve its natural resources more than the industry, so that serves industry without raw material? Colonization served to show the diversity between totally different societies, but also served to occur the trade of the raw materials between the diverse societies.
