This is an evocative image which outlines and spreads awareness of global warming in an interesting and creative way. It portrays the earth melting due to high temperatures caused by us. It evokes the audience to think about how we are negatively impacting upon earth and causing it harm through colonization, urbanisation and industrialisation. This is a very important matter which must be prioritised as global warming is causing many issues, namely rising sea levels which are majorly effecting low lying and small islands around the world. This will continue if nothing is done.

I like the image you chose, it is very evocative. How does this image evoke thoughts about colonization, urbanization and industrialization? You are right, these are very important issues, I would love to hear how this image spoke to those processes for you. Further, how are those processes connected to each other and to climate change?
