Hello, we hope you're all doing fine.

Water is the most essential resource and it has a huge impact on the world. Therefore, we have to do our best at using the most out of it without making any damage. Fresh water accounts for only 2.5% of Earth's water so this is a sensible subject, any wrong move could cause destruction. Climate change is one of the main reasons the water issues we're dealing with are present. And some of the consequences are already showing, the oceans are getting more acidic because of the increase of carbon dioxide. Scientists say it is 40% more acidic than it used to be. They're also getting hotter, which contributes to higher sea levels. This is why we have to find solutions together, and learn how to adapt water use to climate change.

Adapting water use to climate change was our assigned BlueYouth theme, which is obligatory all over the world. But it can get a little bit more important in some countries, like Morocco, that is directly affected by those issues. Our country's economy is mainly based on agriculture plus we're dealing with other problems in education and health system and also with poverty.

Things in Morocco are evolving in a very slow way, autorities and government aren't showing enough interest in the subject, and most of the Moroccan citizens aren't aware of the problems the world is dealing with or just don't feel concerned. We have to change this and make it better by showing to people the damages water problems and climate change can cause, we have to face it all united and think of the potential future we could have. Especially for the lower categories in our society because they are the most affected.

The best strategies to deal with climate change are to sensitize people of the current state of the world by social media or direct exchange, to try and make ignorant people understand the seriousness of the issue and to have a better eudcation system that is based on teaching kids at their younger age on how to protect Earth.
