Description

In this phase of the Decarbonize project, students will research key background information on climate change and water, create a dialogue and collaborate with students from a different country, and develop a broader awareness of climate change and how it impacts countries differently.

Task

Students should hold at least one video conference with their partner country. The country pairings are responsible for organizing when the video conference happens and what it includes.

• We encourage the conferences to use a structured format, such as including introductory comments from each country.
• Each country can frame their own country in relation to climate change and water, and what they perceive their partner country’s relation to climate change to be, as a way to get a dialogue going.
