extraction of resources that lead to climate change in traditional lands

Sep 29, 2017 by Natália Brito soares

With the increase in ore supply, there was a certain need to remove

larger volumes of human resources from the nature, causing impacts on

climate change. Automobiles, cement, machinery are made from raw materials

coming from this extraction. The mining activity and the Garimpo promote direct

impacts on nature leading to the deterioration of the environment.

The environmental damage is very high because the rivers are silted, fauna and

contaminated, vegetation cover and withdrawal, and compromises the health of societies,

profitability and minority, but losses and of all population, domestic and foreign

enterprises it benefits greatly from the extraction, leaving the forests, rivers and

the population at a disadvantage.

Minerals are indispensable for the maintenance of industrial activity. These resources

are found in the soils or subsoils from which various ores such as tin, gold, silver,

bauxite, etc. are extracted. Mechanized mining produces deep impacts in river environments,

destroying the banks of the river and modifying the landscape and there is also a modification

in the water occurring a contamination with applications of mercury and other debris.

being a huge populous Country, India can use surplus oil and natural gas resources

from Bangladesh at a cheaper rate.
