Simulation 1

1. What part of your ecological footprint most surprised you?

I think that the part that most surprised me in the simulation is food and transportation because I did simulations taking in account each factor, and the food and transportation were the biggest. I took in consideration all parameters as low as possible except food and I got 1.8 planets

2.How did your footprint compare to your city's average and your country's average?

The average ecological footprint for Peru is 1.3 planets and I assume the consumption of a very poor people in my country the average footprint is 0.7 planets. With this I can conclude that I personally consume too much, I need 3.1 planets .

3. Find a location with a smaller carbon footprint from yours, within your own country is possible. What is different about this community from your own? What can you learn from this?

My carbon footprint was 7.2 tonnes is because I consume too much but unlike the poor people in my country they have a carbon footprint of 0.9 tonnes. I can reduce some of my carbon footprint if I don't use that much electricity.

4. What parts of your footprint do you feel is possible to reduce? What parts don't?

I can reduce the carbon footprint making changes in food, decrease the consumption of meat and increase vegetables and in the transport I can change cars with bicycles.

Simulation 2

1. What strategy did you take in climate challenge? Was it effective in reducing emissions?

I decided to increase the economy to be able to improve in every aspect and listen to the opinions of the citizens.

2. What did you think of how the strategy cards represented resources? Do you think some of the strategies/policies would have different impacts than the ones shown in the game?

I think that the strategies of the cards represent steps and ideas of how it exists in real life in the political aspect and if it were real there would be no corruption.

3. How did you approach international negotiations ? Was it better to lead by example, or attempt to encourage other nations by investing in their green economies?

be in agreement with politicians.

Simulation 3

1.Where you surprised by how much water you consumed?

I was surprised I consumed too much. It was 392 m³ per year.

 2. How did your footprint compare to your country’s and the world's average?

I didn't compare the water footprint of my country because I haven't found it, but the world's is 1243 m3. I think that global difference is very

3.What parts of your footprint do you feel is possible to reduce? What parts don’t?

I want to reduce the consumption of meats and increase the consumption of vegetables and fruits in the alimentary diet. I can't to reduce vegetable oil, starchy roots, sugar, sweeteners, pulses and stimulants because it's necesary.

4. Do some research on a water-based confliclvt in your country. Which communities have access to water, which ones don’t, and who controls the resource use?

There are communities that do not have access to water such as native communities  but those who have a larger impact are those living in the city  as well as companies but these companies steal the water supply from the native communities.
