CILT-BRASÍLIA-BRAZIL-CLASS: 2D-teacher Cristina Lourenço-

Environment   Sep 13, 2017 by Kathleen Beatriz Gualberto Santos

If all people in the world had the same thoughts like me, or even lived as me, it would not even be necessary for one planet to survive.
One possible change that could happen would be to save more energy, no matter what happens, never kill animals, and more than that ,work in a way to decrease the consumption of using buses and trains.
This change would affect society, but it would not be a very big change, because with less use of polluting gases (buses and trains) the population would have an air, the ecology of water would affect society, but it would not be enough, because who most consumes the water on the planet is the area of agriculture, so if the citizens reduce their consumption of water will be good, but will be giving a greater consumption for the agriculture.

Hi Kathleen,

It is great to see you thinking critically about these important issues. You have noted that even if people reduced their water consumption, there is still a lot of water use in agriculture. Do you have any ideas as to how this can be changed? Perhaps we need to look into how much food is wasted. Also, you have several ideas for reducing energy use; however, if we remove buses and trains, what would be the alternative? People will still need to get to different places? Do you have any ideas? Keep thinking critically about these issues.

Allison
