Environment   Aug 30, 2017 by Letícia Carvalho dos Santos

We have to invest in education to make everyone aware, so that the world is high sustainable is necessary more investments in other types of energy such as solar energy. I intend to disclose that solar energy is a more sustainable energy without causing so much impact on our nature, thus trying to make people aware of nature.

A negative and positive impact we can say in this question, because of colonization that brings the unbalance our wealth. The positive aspect is that some people nowadays are aware to take care and try to help with sustainable development

Hi Leticia,

Solar energy is a great alternative energy, however I would challenge you to think about how an oil dependent world would move away from oil to solar? Is solar energy possible everywhere? Where has it been developed and how is it working? How does one shift the culture from the importance of oil to the importance of the environment?

You say that nowadays people are aware to take care and help with sustainable development – do you think this is a new practice? How do you think the environment has shifted and thus the response to it? As in, was sustainable development needed in the same way before colonialism or has it become important in response to colonialism?

I understand perfectly where you want to go ... but our oil will one day end, so why do not we look for a way that we will not use it?

yes I think we can raise awareness for these new practices, before it is too late, I know that this practice will not work in some parts of the world, but we can find other methods for each place according to its climate
