CILT-BRASÍLIA-BRASIL-Class:3B-Teacher:Cristina Lourenço-1a "my point of view"

Environment   Aug 30, 2017 by Natália Brito soares

I don´t have any restricted ideas or thoughts , because the greatest superpowers do not help to develop sustainability, leaving people farther away from having a sustainable world, nothing has been developed or put into practice so that the bad habits are cut and that they can try to be a country with more sustainability.

The most important thing is having a good education and awareness, both of our own acts and of society, developing good habits and moral being aware of harmful and irrelevant acts that can cause conflicts. being thus having good generation so that there is sustainability.

the colonization triggered the sustainability by the way they were lived  in the past and how it did not reach  as much as we do nowadays the way of life was simpler and sustainability was better applied at that time than nowadays.

Many tribes of indigenous people live in a more sustainable way as the

Tupinaba, indigenous people live in a more sustainable way, different from our society

we live in, we are constantly changing and it becomes a difficult situation to reverse since

the way of living has already not the same as our grandparents or older relatives, technology

is more advanced every day and people consuming We live in a remote and alienated situation

Which leads more and more to consumption and distancing us from sustainability, despite this

monotonous situation some places opt for solar energy, selective collection plus sustainability options.

Natália, I appreciate your call for individual responsibility and an awareness around how people can reduce the harm they do to the environment. I understand your pessimism towards the superpowers who have done little to prioritize sustainability. However, I would encourage you to look for examples of states, legislation or advocacy that have challenged the superpowers to think about sustainability. While it is hard to imagine major change on that scale, the way our world is set up requires it. Thus, it is important to think about both what we can do as individuals and how we must push back against industry and governments lack of action.

You make a good point regarding colonization replacing better practices of sustainability. Are you aware of any indigenous groups or movements who are trying to move back to that way of living?
