A sustainable world

A sustainable world is a place where all we do will contribute for a better place, a place where we don't need to kill animal to satisfy our hunger. Animal is not bought, not sold, not used, do not eat or even used to get dressed as a product. The animal exist because of their motives, this reason has nothing to do whit ours! We do not have rights to use animal. Animal are friends and essential for the nature

According to environmental experts at the World Bank, raising animal for a consumption an action that produces 65% of nitrous oxide in the world - accoutered for 51% of man-made climate change. the water consumption of the world, 30% is in fiction of the "animal factory". In addition, an animal industry occupies up to 45% of the wold's land, accounts for 91% of destruction in the Brazilian amazon, is a major cause of dead zones in the ocean and destruction of habitats and species.

The milder meat reduction diet managed to avoid 5.1 million deaths per year by 2050, the vegetarian saved 7.3 million lives and vegan managed to reacher 8.1 million. Regarding greenhouse gas emission, the savings achieved whit a vegetarian diet were also significant ( 63%) and even the simple  reduction of consumption had an impact (29%). But a change in diet does not only mean health gains, but also " greats benefits to society", it's is a strong argument for increasing public and private spending on programs aimed at achieving healthier diets and environmentally sustainable

Hi Ana,

I am a mentor from Canada. I am very impressed with your knowledge about the impacts of human uses of animals. I think your vision of a sustainable world is inspiring and reading your post has reminded me of many of the reasons that I limit my consumption of meat and why I have been vegetarian before. Referencing other sources and providing specific data is a great way to support your ideas. Well done. I wonder if you have any ideas of how to encourage other people to change their views about human uses of animals?

Thank you for sharing your thoughtful ideas. I look forward to reading more of your work during this project.

Allison
