CILT-BRASÍLIA- BRAZIL- Class: 2D Teacher Cristina Lourenço 1A A new start

Environment   Aug 16, 2017 by Luíza Pereira Lima

My vision for a sustainable world is that does not have so much difficulty to preserving the environment, that it is easy to maintain the growth of agricultural production and also reduce the impacts of this production on the natural resources.

I plan to help reduce the impacts that a man causes in the nature, fighting to make people aware that if they do not change the planet will be uninhabitable and we will end in extinction like the animals that already suffer the consequences of human acts.

In fact, colonization was very devastating with Brazilian nature, because the settlers exploring very riches of the places, for example, in Brazil the colonizer was Portugal, which explored much Brazil wood, gold, and other ores that somehow affected quite the ground.

Hi Luiza,

I am a mentor for Brazil. It sounds like you are passionate about environmental issues. You have provided several examples of the impacts of colonization on Brazil. I am curious how you will make people aware of environmental issues? Are there any issues that you feel more strongly about than others?
