- A) What is your vision for a sustainable world?
My vision for a sustainable world is a world full of green plants and a healthy environment. A clean world where people are happy and aware of their actions on the environment, where conservation is emphasized, and where resources are respected and replenished. My hope is that every individual can play a part in protecting their environment and therefore each other.
- B) What are you planning to do to make this vision a reality?
I plan to first change how I live, and then spread the word to other people who can help. I plan to start taking better care of by back and front yard by watering it using a watering can (not sprinklers)on a schedule and using food waste for composting.
I also will try and encourage my whole family to start being more eco-friendly by biking or walking to more places. Another reason that some plants aren’t healthy is because of air pollution. Burning fossil fuels, such as coal, oil, natural gas, and gasoline to produce electricity and power our vehicles are the causes of air pollution. To prevent this, people could try to walk or bike to places they need to be unless it is far away. In addition to just making the world cleaner by doing this, most people would probably be more fit. Now, not only are the plants healthy, the people are too.
- C) What impact has colonization had on our journey to a sustainable planet?
In terms of climate change, colonization has both negative and positive impacts. One issue is deforestation. According to a google search, colonization means “the action or process of settling among and establishing control over the indigenous people of an area.” When people settle and establish control over a piece of land, they have to kill plants to make room for where they are going to live. By cutting down trees, they could also use the trunks to make their houses and other things such as rafts and household appliances. On the contrary, the people who colonize are also the people who introduced many beneficial inventions. Some of these inventions include windmills, recycling/composting, and solar panels.

I agree on your idea that we can gradually make changes by first taking care of what's near us- such as using sprinklers to water your front yard. Though these actions may seem small, you never know how great the impact will be if small changes are made in a daily basis. Your image shows a utopia- clear skies, vast greenness, and clean waters.
I like how you included the definition of colonization to help the reader better understand what you are talking about. By adding in the definition, a broader audience can understand your post.
