We were able to determine how this global issue affects us in some way or another, that it has an impact on each and every individual living in this world. Based from the answers of the students they were able to express their views on how our government is taking action to this problem. It is very evident that they believe that the government is still somehow lacking in terms of focusing on how the effects of climate change could be lessened. They also think that our government still has the potential to make ways on how they can lessen the damage that this problem has caused. Based on the survey, the results were somehow expected because the participants who answered were a part of an Environmental Education class so it was given that the results that would imply that the participants were aware of the impact of environmental issues, climate change making a strong impact on them, knowing if their actions contribute to the betterment of the environment etc. Being a part of this class enabled the students to become more aware on the effects of climate change, as seen in the results this topic has been an ongoing discussion throughout the years of our high school lives. Therefore the students are aware of the reality of what climate change does to us and our surroundings. Despite this, it was also expected that in the essay part of the survey would have very meaningful and substantial answers. Being part of an Environmental Education class means sharing a common goal which is to do everything in order to preserve the precious life of Mother Earth.
