Opinions: About me

Culture   Aug 31, 2017 by Abedeh Gholidoust

Hi Everyone,

My name is Abedeh and I just graduated from the University of Alberta for my Ph.D. program in Environmental Engineering. My research interests include material sustainable development to improve indoor and outdoor air quality, and I have been dealing with the air emission in oil and gas industries in Alberta. I had this privilege to attend a summer school at Imperial College on "Energy resources and Climate Change issues", and spent five months in Australia for an exchange program working on "CO2 Capture" project.

During the last four months, I was working with the City of Edmonton as a "Policy & Strategy" intern to develop written policies for "Climate Change Adaptation Strategies", and have completed fact sheets and program materials. Currently, I'm a Methods Analyst at the City and am very enthusiastic to share my knowledge/experience with you to take actions in "COP 23".
