Description

Focus: Climate change action for Indigenous peoples vs. climate change action from and with Indigenous peoples

How is this representation of climate change similar to the other things you’ve read/viewed? How is different?

*I had not realized how important this is for indigenous people, what a big different view this video make me see. It is differed now because everyone are suffering with the climate change but the indigenous people are suffering more.

Where do you see the influence of Indigenous peoples in this video? Where is it missing?

*the whole video makes clear the influence of indigenous peoples. In the past they knew when the rain will come, the time to plant and reap. But now they don't know when it's time, because everything has changed.

Do you agree with the representation of Indigenous peoples and climate change action in the video? Why or why not?

*yes I totally agree with the representation because is what we are seeing nowadays

You are right! This video make the suffering of indigenous people even more obvious with it's animations.

Your answer to the second questions is true, however, it addresses the effect of climate change on indigenous people, not necessarily the influence of indigenous people on climate change. Rephrasing the question, did you see any part in the video where you think indigenous people made impact?

Regarding your response to the forth question, do you think the video has been able to capture the views of all indigenous people in the world? Also, does the video capture all the indigenous people in the world?

  • What solutions to climate change does this video propose?
