In my opinion, better if we stop to make actions bad for the environment only for generate more money and think more about to have a sustainable world because the consequences that the actions that affect the environment causes a bad impact and can be irreversible. Create projects for oversee and raise awareness the companies and the government itself can be good to make the people be more interested in this topic.
One of my plan is create a plataform or a page about the impacts in Brazil caused for the people and the bad actions, doing comparatives in any place with pictures from many years ago and the situation now. Do too, a space for the citizens complaint some illicit action make by a person or by the companies.
Colonization in Brazil start in 1500 when Pedro Álvares Cabral from Potugal came here by mistake, but he did not discover, because the natives already live here, And one impact about this was a loss of part of the culture, language, religion, because the Portuguese prohibited the natives to continue with his costumes and traditions, and with this only a few of them managed to keep their costumes and they was enslaved but their service it wasn't good so the portuguese replaced them by blacks. the colonization in itself caused the most of the problems in the environment some of them are:Exploration of "pau-brasil"caused the near extincion of tha tree and desforestation of big areas.The desforetation and the livestock caused a degradation of the ''matas ciliares" that are very important to protect the seas and lakes like the eye lashes are for our eyes.The exploration of the ores named "garimpo" with mercury caused serious neurological problems in the "garimpeiros" that was people that work there ,people who lived near,contaminated the soiland this exploration caused desforestation too. The biggest "garimpo" in Brazil was named "serra pelada".The industries and farming caused the contaminamination of the groundwater.Various factors in general like desforestation, smoke of the industries and automobiles, pollution caused the ecological imbalance( changing the seasons) , greenhouse effect and lately the weather is more hot and dry.

You have covered the historical aspects and included multiple, specific examples of both human and environmental impacts. This is a thorough and well thought out response. Your idea for a platform/web site with comparative images sounds like it would be very powerful and hopefully, that would inspire people to make changes.
