What is your vision for a sustainable world?
My vision is that we should all be able to use the resources in this world without risking the natures or other humans possibilities to exist in this world.
What are you planning to do to make this vision a reality?
I would want to see a historical perspective being taken in the environmental discussions.
As we have human rights I want there to be environmental rights. The nature we live in need to have its rights taken into consideration. We can't look at nature as our own property. It has its own needs.
And lastly, we need a forming a necessary core change in approach or underlying without proof, in how we look at society and economics. We can't have everything in the world. It's important to understand that our society right now is heading towards the destruction of the world as we know it.
What impact has colonization had on our journey to a sustainable planet?
Colonization has impacted the journey to a sustainable planet because of what it introduced to the different parts of the world. As people colonized in different areas of the world, they destroyed natural habitats of animals, growing constantly to the point where the animals had nowhere to live. They also drove native people, who did not have an as advanced technology, out using their guns and bombs. As technology and weaponry advanced, people used weapons that destroyed large portions of the environment. And, people are constantly developing new things and consuming more and more natural resources to do so.
