  • A) What is your vision for a sustainable world?

My sustainable vision for the world would be, reducing pollution from industrial factories. This would help the loss of citizens and animal’s natural habitat. Thus, our future won’t be clouded with smoke and we can have brighter opportunities for the environment.

Right now as a result of the pollution created by industrial factories: there is excessive smoke in the air. One of the reasons that this could affect the environment is animals would die of suffocation, It’s harder for people to breathe, citizens with lung problems could die or be put in the hospital, and there won’t be any more bright, sunny, and enjoyable days.

Another pollution created from industrial factories: is oil spills, caused by transporting oil to and from the factories. One of the reasons that this is bad for the environment: is it could light on fire and burn people's homes, kill people, and kill animals while destroying their precious habitat at the same time.

In conclusion, My sustainable vision for the world would help by, reducing pollution from industrial factories. Thus, this would help make the world a safer, healthier, and obtain brighter future. So we can make a world with good vibes, good motives, and a happier result in life for the world and everything on it.

  • B) What are you planning to do to make this vision a reality?

My plan for making my vision a reality is. Finding an eco friendly solution for recycling waste material from the industrial factories, so they can make something new. So, that industrial factories can have a good part in society and have a part in saving the environment instead of destroying it. I mean, everybody will feel good if the environment is clean and people are not feeling guilty about themselves. If they produce a lot of smoke another way to fix this is to make the factory zero emission.

Another, way I can stop industrial factory pollution is. By talking to the companies that own the factories and see if they would find a way to recycle their waste and make it something useful. While that could be a positive solution it may cause problems to the companies. Such as losing money, time, and whatever products that they are making.

The benefits of my idea will help the environment and our community by. Reducing global warming, stopping waste material from getting into the environment, and just having a happier and more healthy community. In all good things in life, there are always bad things.

The industrial factories and the company’s owning them could get bankrupt, they could also stop producing their products, and if the community likes their products the feeling in the community will go from feeling, “oh! wow I love the community because this company's product is so wonderful!” to “Meh, since this company's product is gone life in this community is so bland.”

In conclusion, my plan to make this vision a reality will help the environment and the community we all know and love. Why? you ask, well if there is less pollution, the air is clean and everybody will enjoy a bright, happy and a pollution free day.

Hi Zachary, do you prefer to be called Zachary or Zach? My name's Summer and I'll be one of your mentors for Decarbonize COP 23, thanks for your post!

In your post, I'm interested in hearing more about the companies that are doing a great job or  bad job with managing pollution from their factories. Are there any major examples that come to mind?
