Changing Our Energy Sources (Homer High)
I think that this theme of changing our energy sources very much applies to our country, I think that we need to do something to lessen/eliminate our usage of fossil fuels. We need energy and right now we need fossil fuels to survive, although it is polluting the world. We haven't really changed our energy sources, I mean we have made small changes, like individual people buying wind turbines for their businesses, but we haven't done any large scale changes that we keep planning on doing. The worst strategy for climate change seems to be electing a new president, while the best would be to use the knowledge and technology that we have to make things better and try to completely turn our backs on fossil fuels. The way that energy production seems to be evolving is in the direction of half clean, and at a snails pace at that. I would like to see it moving more quickly towards solar and wind power, like the way that our mobile device technology is changing so rapidly.
