We have discussed three feasible methods. First, we can eat local foods to reduce the water footprint and ecological footprint. If the ingredients are from foreign countries, long-distance transport of the foods will contribute to more greenhouse gas discharge and the mileages will increase.
Second, we can bring our own bottles or containers when buying drinks and food so that we can reduce the used of disposable tableware.
Third, we hope we can implement a way of selling foods at a lower price if consumers don’t take any disposable tableware. Based on the above approaches, we hope that we can reduce water footprint, ecological footprint and raise awareness.
