My vision for a sustainable world is everyone having enough food and that food being healthy, as well as there being clean water for people to drink. The way this could happen would be for people to cut meat completely out or mostly out of their diets. The demand on the meat industry forces the meat providers to forcefully breed animals, which drink a vast amount of water and eat a vast amount of plants, which also takes a significant amount of water. If there was less demand on the meat industry, less water would be needed for the animals that do not need to be born in the first place. On average, vegetarians live longer and healthier lives. This places less strain on the government for healthcare because meat eaters tend to have a higher risk for cancer, heart disease, and other health problems. When you think about it, the answer should be obvious.
