Ecological Footprint (Mark Lau)

Environment   Sep 28, 2016 by Mark Lau

I was very surprised as I found out that food took up a huge part of my ecological footprint. It was at least 50 percent of my total ecological footprint and that number really shocked me. My footprint was just a little under the average of my country, which is China.I feel like I can definitely decrease my footprint on food as sometimes there will be leftovers. However in Hong Kong, such a busy city I have to use transportation services every day although I already tried my best to go to closer places for dinner. Overall I am quite satisfied as it showed that my ecological footprint is below the amount an average person uses in China. But that doesn't mean I won't keep trying my best to reduce my ecological footprint.
