These simulations really opened my eyes to how the choices we make effect the world around up. For the first simulation, it surprised me that I used that much land to sustain my self, ten and a half Canadian football fields. I was below the average of my nearest city, Calgary. However I was above the Canadian average. I feel that it is possible to reduce of every part of my ecological foot print if I tried hard enough. For the second one I found it kind of fun, I mean we all talk about how someone can better run a country, and now we have the chance. For this challenge I took a stance for less carbon emissions, trying to reduce my emissions every time the UN asked. The cards lied everything out very nicely, which really helped. I tried to choose to help other countries and lead by examples. I was surprised how difficult it was to keep everything in balance.
These simulations really help to teach me how i can better benefit my community. They really helped me find ways to combat this global challenge. These simulations just added to the existing ideas that people have to tackle this challenge called climate change.

I love how you brought up how everyone thinks they can run the country better. No matter what a government tries to do, there will always be someone who disagrees. I also found I had a similar experience with balance. There is so much that needs to be considered when making decisions for a nation, and its hard to fully understand unless one is placed in that position.
