Our sustainable world

Environment   Sep 13, 2016 by Rachid Benkhouja

Our world is facing lot of problems concernig climate changes and water's situation, which leads to state the definition of a sustainable world. As far as i am concerned, i see that a sustainable world is a world where natural seasons are respected and they come one after the other normally, which means that sun and rain should be regulated, as not to have less rain or more rain. In addition to that, a sustainable world implies a good use of water from people all over the world, that is to say that humans should not exceed in using water, and should not suffer from lack of water. Another point that should be added as part of sustainable world's definition is that it implies equality between human beings in nutrition and life conditions, as long as we are talking about climate and water.

To make this definition reach the whole world and be applied, small actions can make miracles. First, i am plannig on using renewable energies, such as the sun, and limit the use of nonrenewable energies, like petroleum. Second, i am planning on advising my family, neighbors and friends about the importance of climate and water, and also their duty to stay updated in this subject and work on resolving its problems. Finally, i see also actions like using the bike rather than the car or the bus to go to school, be careful regarding electricity and water, and develop the knowledge and awareness of students in schools concerning the climate and water, can be so useful to maintain a sustainable world.

I chose this picture because for me it illustrates what a sustainable world is all about : renewable energies, respect for nature and especially water, furthermore it is all between our hands to make this happen.

Thank you Moataz Khallaf for your comment, it wasn't bashing at all, i liked your interest ! Well, i know the situation and the usage of solar panels in my country and in all over the world, but i wanted, as you can see in the description above the picture, to just illustrate my idea of encouraging and working on renewable energies. I agree with you concerning the cons you gave about solar panels, but if we speak about the price, these two comments here can be a message to the world to reconsider this problem, and if we speak about climate problems, it is the topic of our inverstigations this year and also in this platform. No one can deny the importance of renewable energies for a better environment, but no one can deny the importance of the cons you have mentionned either, so we can be messengers of these problems. Thank you for your comment !!

How are you going to get the solar panels? I hear they are quite expensive. Also, we don't get much sunlight in the Winter, if it happens to hail one cloudy evening. Not only are you not going to receive as much energy as needed but, you also risk the panels of getting destroyed. I'm not bashing on your post, I'm just trying to inform you about the cons of using solar panels.
