Terry Godwaldt is the founder and director of The Centre for Global Education, a non-profit educational organization that seeks to engage the 21st Century Student with authentic global learning experiences, facilitated through the effective integration of technology, curriculum and innovative pedagogy. Through a series of partnerships, The Centre coordinates annual programming for over 10,000 students from every corner of the planet, focusing on Peace and Global Education and Higher Level Learning and Research.
Over the past 10 years, his award winning teaching and program development, have brought Terry to schools across Canada and Europe, from the Junior High classroom to the College lecture hall. In addition to running The Centre, he is currently doing graduate work at the University of Calgary and teaching Mathematics at Queen Elizabeth High School in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
When time does avail itself, Terry loves to play in his East Coast fiddle band, go snowboarding with his wife, and hang out with his three children.
I'm in a project now with OceanWise and youth from across Canada around Plastics. As part of this, I am going to stop buying disposable tea cups from Tim Hortons.
