Welcome everyone. My name is Muniba and I am glad to be your mentor for the COP-22 project.
I recently completed my Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications from the University of Karachi, Pakistan. Although my expertise in Mass Communications is not directly related to this field, I always love expanding my horizons and exploring different topics. I have had a very deep interest in environmental sciences and environmental policy making for a long time. It may not be obvious at first sight, but Mass Communications is linked to climate change in a very special way. Since changes in climate affects each and every individual, it is important to impart knowledge and communicate scientific breakthroughs to everybody in a way that they understand best. The knowledge that is put forth in the world then becomes a basis for policy making that ultimately affects us all. As a Mass Communications major, I hope to bring a new perspective to my mentees and their research while having fun along the way.
