Hello students and teachers from Homer High School!
My name is Elizabeth and I will be your graduate student mentor for the Blue Youth COP22 project. I'm a masters student studying public health at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. I have training in social and environmental justice and I am excited to learn more about climate change issues across the globe.
As your graduate student mentor, I'm available to support you with project activities and I'll do my best to answer any questions you may have. My main role will be to provide feedback on the blog posts and to find relevant news articles and scientific literature to help you learn more about how climate change influences water systems in our communities and around the world.
Feel free to use this discussion thread to share a bit more about yourself and your school (I've never been to Alaska!). Please also use this thread to post questions you have or climate change topics you would like to learn more about.
