I am a graduate student at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, AB, Canada. I study soil science, specializing in soil fauna taxonomy, specifically with a group of soil mites common to the boreal forest. My background is in environmental science and natural resources, so climate change has been a reoccurring theme throughout all of my post-secondary studies.
I am very much looking forward to working with you and helping out in any way I can! This thread is now opening the communication lines, so please comment on this forum with any questions or requests. I am looking forward to reading your blogs.

Hello Brittany McAdams! I am happy to be connected with you and to those who will be joining us in this group. We look forward to this new venue where we collaborate with people and groups with the same advocacy and passion for care for our common home. I am a teacher and the Science Area Coordinator at St. Theresa's College, Quezon City, an exclusive sectarian private school for girls here in the Philippines.
