To all participants from Lillian Osborne, welcome to our discussion forum. I made this thread to introduce myself - I'm Beth, your graduate student mentor from the University of Alberta. I'm here to give you feedback on your work and help you out with research.
I'm a PhD student in the Cell Biology department at the University of Alberta. My research focuses on how microbes adapt to extreme environments, and I am particularly interested in environments which are changing fast due to human influence and climate change. I've been working with the Centre for Global Education for just over a year, and this is my second COP project.
