When we talk about clean water in Canada, we typically think about the city and how we are so easy to access clean water but this isn't always the case around Canada. Being an aboriginal youth that lives within the city, I realize how easy it is to think that access to an certain resource is pretty simple. When water is so easily accessible we’re often blind to the luxuries we obtain but when it comes to aboriginal reservations within Canada, they are not always as lucky as we are. Within the last decade two thirds of all aboriginal communities have been under at least one water advisory. This means that instead of being able to access clean water, reservations have to be supplied with clean water which usually means buying water jugs or needing to boil water to sustain the lifestyle one lives. I feel that sometimes when we refer to Canada's resources we end up forgetting certain minorities within Canada.
