We owe an apology

Imagine yourself as a rich person in this world. You have a very nice work that has high income but at the end of the day there is no clean air, water and land. Do you think you can survive with this kind of place? If you come to think of it what is working and gaining money for if there is no comfortable home available? People nowadays live for money and to be honest I applaud those people who work even though there are no income. Cell is located in Cavite, Philippines where in their goal is to take care of the environment and their mission is to open the minds of the people who will go there to be aware of the different impacts of our human activities that contributes to climate change. This non-government organization is hard to maintain since in reality there are people who thinks that working with an income is more important rather than volunteering for the betterment of the world.

Climate change is the increase of temperature of the world due to the increasing release of the different greenhouse gases. We can already experience the effects of climate change and this is because nature knows best. Furthermore greenhouse gases can destroy the protecting layer of the Earth because these gases collects infrared radiation. When this radiation enters the Earth then there will be an increase in temperature which will result to many negative effects. One proof is here in the Philippines we already experience too much heat and sometimes those hot weather is already not appropriate with the current months. In addition, for the countries that have cold weather the bad effects of climate change to them is that when temperature increases, glaciers will melt. This melting will cause to have more flood and rise of sea levels. Moreover, ice caps are broken down into pieces. Also temperature can also increase evaporation. In addition when temperature increases it can cause death of a person or animal and if this happened more carbon will be emitted since almost all of the things here in the world have carbon. Remember carbon is also part of greenhouse gases.

Climate change is hard to prevent since it is really part of our human activities but carbon emission can be lessen if we discipline ourselves. To be honest greenhouse effect is normal and the only way to deal with this is to prevent or lessen our human activities from emitting more and more carbons and CFC’s.

You can already prevent this through different ways:

• Promote cleanliness by having trash cans (bio and non-biodegradable)
• Use eco bags instead of plastics when you’re buying anything from stores.
• Have a mini-garden at your backyard.
  • Plants can take in carbon dioxide because of photosynthesis
• Try your best to recycle your home wastes.
• Choose to commute rather than using your own car especially if you will only travel for a short distance.

Government can also prevent this through different ways:

• Advertise what will happen if there is no climate change and when there is climate change.
• Let people have awareness of the things they will experience if they still continue to be undisciplined.
• Ban plastics
• Promote tree planting
  • promoting it by giving this a project to a school so that every year there would be trees planted that can lessen carbon dioxide emission

To be honest the current generation right now are aware of the things needed to be changed but they are so close minded. Some people want to only think of themselves and that is unfair because everything is connected to everything else. That’s why we should always think of other things too like our environment. Also, some people think that we are more superior than mother nature since we have intelligence that the nature don’t have but if you think deeply our mother nature is intelligent too since she knows how to balance our human activities and the need of environment. In addition to what I said earlier the older generations actually caused why climate change increased that is why we as new generations should change our ways so that the new age group will experience less negative effects than us. With this they will be inspired to do the things that can save the environment because if our current generation are disciplined then we can be a good example to them.

Ours is a finite earth and we can see this because as caretakers of earth we are aware that we should recycle things that can be recycled. With this awareness of ours we can tell that people have knowledge about the things needed to sustain our home, Earth. The urge of changing comes within us we should be more sensitive about the happenings in our surroundings. We should not ignore what our environment needs but we should balance everything especially our human activities that can contribute to carbon emission. It is you who will make the change the youth is the answer we should be a role model to the following generations. MAKE A CHANGE NOW NOT LATER NOT TOMORROW
