Climate Change Response to Responses to Climate Change

Oct 10, 2016 by Ethan

The responses from the U.S. do correspond to the position of our country on climate change, however the main chunk of our answers come from a very isolated demographic based out of mainly one little region that relies mainly on its fishing industry to thrive. This can lead to very biased responses to the problem posed by climate change. But answers may very heavily depending on where you ask for example, California is going through a major drought, that many attribute to global warming and climate change, whereas places such as Oregon and Washington are very wet, and don't feel the climate changes affect very heavily. We were very intrigued by the responses to the survey, especially in regards to how people feel about the government's response to climate change, or lack thereof. What we found extremely surprising was how people felt they had little to no influence on how our government reacts and responds to the impending struggles of climate change.
