Stella Bowles,
Stella is an environmental advocate, at the age of 11 she found out that one of her local rivers contained so much sewage you were unable to swim. Stella Bowles decided that she was gonna test the river water for sewage, for her grade 6 science project, Stella then posted her findings on Facebook. While doing research for her project Stella found out that there were up to 600 sewage pipes illegally dumping sewage into the river. Stella's Facebook page went viral, 3 policymakers from all 3 levels of government saw the page and put together 15.7 million $ to help clean the river. Today, Stella is spreading her message around the world, Stella is also teaching youth how to test water ways and how to get involved in clean water work.
