After doing some research on Youth Climate Justice Advocates in Australia, I found the AYCC. The AYCC is the Australian Youth Climate Coalition, this organisation is committed to a vision of climate justice. The AYCC is working to keep global warming below 1.5 degrees, sustainable solutions to the climate crisis, working together to build the power of, those most affected by climate change, examine and challenge the systems at the root cause of the climate crisis.

The countries that use the most fossil fuels are China, United States, India, Russia and Japan. Japan and India are in the top 10 countries that will be affected by climate change.

Some changes Australia is making to help reduce climate change is bringing in new recycling programs such as containers for change. Containers for change is a program where you can take eligible containers to a refund point, to earn a refund. Some changes our school are making to help combat climate change includes “Pimlico Think Tank”, “Give up the straw”, “Bohle wetlands tree planting” and “Pimlico Solar System.”
