Carbon Footprint

Based on your input, your total footprint is 5,210 kgs of CO2 per year, compared to an average of 11,771 kgs for Australia, and 3,791 kg (= 8,358 lbs) worldwide.

By category, your totals (in kgs) are:

You:

Your region:

Home:

2,896 kgs

4,389 kgs

Food:

1,906 kgs

3,696 kgs

Purchases:

282 kgs

1,027 kgs

Transportation:

127 kgs

2,659 kgs

Note that a “globally sustainable” footprint level, where atmospheric CO2 levels would stabilize at 450ppm, is approximately 1,000 kg (= 2,204 lb) per capita!

My total carbon footprint is 5,210kgs per year. Which in average of 11,7771kgs for Australia.  The least footprint is for purchases and transportation. Which for purchases it was 282kgs with in the region it was 1,027 and for transportation 127kgs and in the region 2,659kgs. The carbon footprint had a significant difference. The most was for food and home. Which for food my carbon footprint was 1,906kgs which for the region was 3,696. At home there was the most carbon footprint which was 2,896kgs. This can be reduced further by using less air-conditioning or less fan.
